Is WanderMap really free to use?
Yes! The Explorer plan is completely free and includes everything you need to plan solo trips — unlimited stops, routes, full itinerary builder, budget tracking, and more. No credit card required.
What happens when I hit 5 active trips on the free plan?
You can archive completed trips to make room for new ones, or upgrade to Navigator for unlimited active trips. Archived trips are always accessible — you just can't edit them until you free up a slot or upgrade.
How does the 14-day free trial work?
When you upgrade to Navigator, you get full access to all Pro features for 14 days — no credit card required. If you decide it's not for you, your account simply reverts to the Explorer plan with no charge.
Do my friends need a paid plan to collaborate?
No! Only the trip owner needs a Navigator plan to enable collaboration features. Anyone you invite can join as an editor or viewer for free.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and PayPal. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?
Yes, you can switch at any time from your account settings. When switching to annual, you'll receive a prorated credit for your remaining monthly subscription. Switching to monthly takes effect at the end of your annual billing period.
What happens if I cancel my Navigator subscription?
You keep access to Navigator features until the end of your billing period. After that, your account reverts to the Explorer plan. All your trips and data are preserved — you just lose access to Pro features like collaboration and snap-to-road routing.
